Symptoms Of Panic Attacks- Do You Recognize Them?

Typically, there are many symptoms of panic attack and I will try my best to give details and point out them here in the article. Allow me, however, to first explain what this condition is. A panic attack is a disorder wherein a person is plagued by unprecedented bouts of panic attacks.

All reasons behind the panic attacks have one common denominator which is increasing levels of tension and anxiety. Sure it is normal to get a little anxious from time to time and there is nothing faulty about that. In fact, it is believed that mild anxiety can actually sharpen your mind; nevertheless, once mild anxiety magnifies into its serious type and is ignored, this may lead to serious panic attacks.

As been mentioned before, there are various panic attacks symptoms and one of them is hyperventilation. Such symptom is among the most common signs a panic victim may encounter yet, until today, no one can make clear in detail how it happens.

The next symptom that happens right after hyperventilation happens is temporary loss of consciousness or fainting. When your breathing becomes irregular, the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the body also changes. Tachycardia or rapid heart rate is the next symptom of panic attacks. Actually, most of the signs of a panic or anxiety attack are caused by the sympathetic nervous reaction. Other sympathetic symptoms may include nausea, shaking of the hands or legs and increased perspiration.

One other symptom that I want you to focus on is the sense that time is going by slowly. Such feeling is common to panic attack patients and it is believed to be the culprit why fear and anxiety levels escalate. People may think then that they have been suffering from panic attacks for a long time already. Here’s an important thing to remember, generally a panic attack cycle lasts for 10 t0 15 minutes only. So it is best to relax during the episode and wait until such time the manifestations subside; as because it will definitely end.

Those were the common symptoms of panic attacks you have experienced or will be experiencing on the next attacks if you won’t do anything to stop it. I have enumerated the following manifestations for you to understand that it’s not life-threatening, hence, no need to worry that much.
